(GSM) – Turkish giants Besiktas have completed the signing of Internazionale winger Ricardo Quaresma.

The Istanbul based side have paid a reported €7.3 million for the 26-year-old, who becomes Bernd Schuster’s first signing since taking charge last week.

Quaresma, who spent six months on loan at Chelsea, returned to Inter last summer making just 13 appearances in all competitions in a season that was also ravaged by injuries.

The Portugal international, who has over 30 caps for his country, had also failed to make the cut in his nation’s World Cup squad.

Quaresma arrived at Inter in 2008 after the Serie A outfit paid Porto €18.6 million plus Pele, who was valued at around six million.

However, the two-time Portuguese player of the year, who still had three years left to run on his contract, has had little impact at the San Siro.
