Turkish heavyweights Besiktas have been one of the biggest surprises of this year’s edition of the Champions League.
Despite some rather impressive performances in the earlier stages of the competition, Besiktas were still unable to go past one of Europe’s biggest clubs Bayern Munich who ended up winning their Last 16 tie against the Turkish side 8-1 on aggregate.
The Bavarians were rather compelling both home and away but Besiktas fans did not for one second leave their side without support and should be complimented for it.
