Turkish giants Besiktas are hoping to sign German attacker Aaron Hunt from Werder Bremen, according to Bild.
The 27-year-old will be out of contract in the summer and it appears he has decided to leave the Weserstadion outfit after spending his entire professional career up to date at the club.
Bild has learned that Besiktas lead the chase for the player’s signature, having offered him a three-year deal worth €2 million per campaign.
Considering that his gross salary was less than €700,000 per season at Werder, chances are that Hunt will be accepting the offer from Turkey.
Aaron Hunt came through the youth ranks at Weserstadion and went on to make 195 Bundesliga appearances for the club, scoring 41 goals in the process.
He has also featured in 38 European matches and scored 2 goals, while earning 3 Germany caps. He last represented his country in a friendly against Ecuador in May 2013.
