According to Sky Sports, Besiktas are interested in bringing Divock Origi to the club. The Belgian forward has been unable to break his way into the first team with Liverpool, which has been the story of pretty much his entire tenure with Liverpool. Despite showing flashes of brilliance he hasn’t maintained that consistency required to secure a place in the starting XI, and now, it seems as if a move away is imminent.
The Turkish club are hopeful that they can bring the 23 year old over on a two year loan deal, in a similar manner to Loris Karius. While the logistics of the two deals would likely be very similar the moves would probably be for two very different reasons, with Karius departing in the wake of his disastrous performance in the Champions League final earlier this year.
Origi, on the other hand, just needs to be given the chance to prove what he can do.
