A difficult start to the season for all at Everton could be set to take a turn for the better with the news that they are set to complete the signing of midfielder Segundo Castillo from Red Star Belgrade, subject to a medical.
The twenty-six year-old Ecuador international with over thirty caps for his country will join Everton if the medical and the work permit application are both successful.
There hasn’t been much good news at Goodison Park over the past few weeks and this transfer following on from their win at West Brom at the weekend should lighten the mood a little and let David Moyes get on with the job of managing his team.
