Dusan Tadic is one of the reasons Southampton have proved the doubters wrong in what was predicted to be a disastrous campaign for the South Coast club.

Robbed of the likes of Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana, who joined Liverpool in the summer, the Saints were expected to struggle from the outset in the Premier League this season.

When Ronald Koeman replaced Tottenham-bound Mauricio Pochettino as manager, the fans were hardly shouting for joy, but the Dutchman has proved his detractors wrong.

Tadic has been a productive supply route for the Saints, linking up with players like Graziano Pelle, who has found the target regularly.

Tadic has been in such good form that he is ranked highly in the Premier League for assists, not quite matching the likes of Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas, who is already in double figures for setting up goals, but still amongst the front runners.

Another Dutch manager making his mark in the Premier League is Manchester United’s Louis van Gaal, who has at last shown signs that he is getting to grips with life at Old Trafford.

After a less than auspicious start to the season Van Gaal has seen his expensively-assembled side start to display the sort of consistency demanded by the club’s followers.

Without the distractions of European football, United appear to have put their teething troubles behind them to produce the sort of performances required by a no-nonsense manager like Van Gaal.

Following David Moyes’ ill-fated tenure at Old Trafford, the recent calm provided by his successor has returned United to the upper echelons of the Premier League.

Enhanced price therefore maximum stake of £25 per user.
