Birmingham bring in Arsenal duo

Birmingham City have completed the signings of Arsenal full-back pair Carl Jenkinson and Cohen Bramall, according to the Mirror Online.

Blues boss Harry Redknapp has been keen to strengthen his squad as he sets his sights on the Championship top six and has taken the Gunners pair on loan for the season.

Jenkinson made only a handful of appearances for Arsene Wenger’s side last season having returned from an ACL knee injury that had ended his loan spell with West Ham United last January and kept him on the sidelines for eight months.

In total he has played sixty-two times for his parent club, scoring once while he netted twice in fifty-nine outings for the Hammers.

Bramall is yet to make his competitive debut and will look to gain experience with the Midlands side who currently sit fifteenth in the Championship table having taken just four points from their opening four games.
