Birmingham linked with move for Foster

Birmingham boss Alex McLeish want to sign Ben Foster on loan from Manchester United for next season.

Joe Hart has been impressive on loan at Birmingham this season but is expected to return to Manchester City at the end of the season.

McLeish said: “I would not rule out another loan for a keeper. That is a situation I would be happy to do again.

“I think we all know the Premier League and the likely candidates to be allowed out on loan, but so do a lot of other clubs too.

“We will see what we can sort out, but there will certainly be competition.
