Birmingham sign Spanish midfielder Valles

English Premier League club Birmingham have agreed a deal to sign Spanish midfielder Enric Valles on a free transfer from NAC Breda on July 1.

Valles, 20, is out of contract after two seasons with the Dutch side, for whom he made just four appearances, and the former Barcelona reserve has been snapped up by Birmingham manager Alex McLeish.

“Birmingham have landed the services of versatile Spanish midfielder Enric Valles, who spent the last two seasons with Dutch club NAC Breda,” a statement on the club’s website read.
