Feyenoord have announced that they have sold Diego Biseswar to Kayserispor for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old forward has struggled to nail down a regular berth in the starting line-up in recent seasons and has made just four appearances in the Eredivisie so far this term.

Consequently Biseswar, who represented the Netherlands at underage level, is now looking forward to kick-starting his career in Turkey.

“I am very pleased that an agreement has been reached between the two clubs,” he told Feyenoord’s official website.

“It’s with great pain that I leave Feyenoord. I will miss the supporters. However, it was time for a new adventure abroad.”

Biseswar has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract and will officially become a Kayserispor player on January 1.
