Competition: Serie A

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 4/5 @ 888sport

In a Serie A showdown that could see chances come thick and fast, Atalanta will welcome Torino to the Gewiss Stadium on Wednesday night.

Starting with the hosts, while Atalanta might have managed to make a much-needed return to winning ways last weekend, it does not cover what has been a woeful run of form. Despite being last seen grabbing a 3-1 victory away at Venezia, that is the only win that La Dea have picked up from their last six contests across all formats. Crashing out of the Europa League at the hands of German outfit RB Leipzig earlier in the month, Head Coach Gian Piero Gasperini does find real pressure on his shoulders. Now in an uphill battle to clinch a European finish this season, Atalanta should at least be boosted by their most recent meeting against Wednesday’s guests. When the two sides faced off back on August 21st, Gasperini’s side did pick up a lively 2-1 victory away from the Gewiss Stadium.

As for the visitors, last seen over the weekend when grabbing a 2-1 victory at home against Spezia, the mood in Torino’s camp should be at a real high. Enjoying what has been a real overhaul this season and with their sights set on clinching a top-half finish, Head Coach Ivan Jurić has seen his side lost just one of their last seven matchups, a run that stems back to February 27th. Impressing earlier in the month as they claimed a gritty 1-1 draw against Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico, the Bulls could be smelling the chance to spring an upset on Wednesday night. Likewise, also taking points off of Juventus on their travels this season, we could be in for another enjoyable affair here. It should be noted, with four of their previous five meetings finishing with both teams finding the net, we’re backing a similar outcome.

Bet: Both teams to score at Atalanta vs Torino 4/5 for Wednesday’s Serie A matchup @ 888sport
