Competition: International friendly

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 4/5 @ BetUS

In what could prove to be an enjoyable fair from Brussels on Wednesday night, Belgium will welcome Serbia to town for an international friendly.

Starting with the hosts, while Belgium might have suffered real World Cup frustration out in Qatar over the winter as they failed to punch a knockout stage ticket, the Red Devils have come roaring back in some style. Continuing to shine since they appointed new boss Domenico Tedesco earlier in the year, the former Schalke boss should find the mood in his superstar squad at a red-hot high. Breezing their way to EURO 2024 and hardly having to get out of second gear, Belgium are once again tipped as a genuine contender when they arrive in Germany next year. Collecting 17 points from their seven European Championship qualifying appearances, Wednesday’s hosts will simply be looking to keep up their recent momentum here. Gaining a fearsome reputation for their free-scoring performances in the final third and notching 17 strikes in their seven qualifying showdowns, it should also be noted that Todesco’s side have not suffered a single defeat in Brussel over the past 17 months.

As for the visitors, while Serbia might have struggled to find much stability during their EURO 24 qualifying adventure this year, it would take a major miracle to stop the Eagles from booking their ticket to Germany. Last seen signing off October’s international break with a routine 3-1 victory against Montenegro, Dragan Stojkovic’s side have won just a pair of their previous five qualifying showdowns. Facing what could be a stern challenge in Brussels on Wednesday night, Serbia should be worried by a downbeat record against the European giants. In fact, including a 2-1 loss when the two sides last met back in 2013, Stojkovic’s men have lost each of their previous three showdowns against Belgium by an aggregate score of 8-3. However, it should be noted, with each of Serbia’s last six appearances across all competitions finish with both teams finding the net, we are expecting a similar outcome here.

Bet: Both teams to score at Belgium vs Serbia 4/5 for Wednesday’s International friendly matchup @ BetUS
