Skyrocketing their way up the Championship table, Boro have won five of their last six second-tier showdowns and the mood in their camp appears to be at a red-hot high. Heading into the New Year with another eye-catching display as they claimed a 2-1 victory away at Blackburn, Carrick’s high-flying squad have also lost just one of their previous eight Championship battles.
