Competition: Bundesliga

Market: Werder Bremen draw no bet

Odds: 7/10 @ 888sport

Hoping to make an immediate return to winning ways on Saturday afternoon, Werder Bremen will make the trip to the Vonovia-Ruhrstadion when they meet Bochum.

Starting with the hosts, while Bochum might have shocked many across Germany last season as they clung to their Bundesliga status, Thomas Reis’ side are in the midst of a rather public struggle. Last seen putting in another toothless display as they were hit with a 1-0 loss away at European contenders Freiburg, the Blues are tipped as a landslide relegation pick this time around. Losing each of their opening four top-flight matchups since opening the 2022/23 campaign, the ex-Wolfsburg coach finds growing pressure on his shoulders. In fact, on a run that is highlighted by a dreadful 7-0 drumming at the hands of defending champions Bayern Munich on August 21st, Bochum are the only Bundesliga outfit who are yet to get a single point on the board so far this season.

As for the visitors, after eventually getting hit with an action-packed 4-3 defeat at home against Europa League winners Eintracht Frankfurt last weekend, Werder Bremen will be seeking an immediate response. Making their Bundesliga return this summer, Head Coach Ole Werner has been filled with praise for his side’s start to the 2022/23 campaign. Laying down a stunning marker on August 20th as they mounted a famous comeback in their 3-2 victory away at Borussia Dortmund, the Greens have also found a clinical edge in the final third. Already bagging 10 strikes so far this season, there is no doubt that Bremen should be smelling a golden chance on Saturday afternoon. Winning each of their last three meetings against the leading relegation contenders, we’re backing an away draw no bet here.

Bet: Werder Bremen draw no bet against Bochum 7/10 for Saturday’s Bundesliga battle @ 888sport
