Competition: Irish Premier Division

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 8/11 @ BetUS

Looking to temporarily climb into the European places, Waterford will travel to Dalymount Park when they meet Bohemians on Friday night.

Starting with the hosts, while Bohemians might open this weekend’s fixtures holding a five-point buffer over slipping into the relegation play-off spot, Alan Reynolds’ men are desperately seeking some kind of Premier Division stability, the Dublin-based outfit will be looking to claim a welcomed boost on Friday night. Suffering a second-half collapse away at Drogheda last week as they eventually had to settle for an action-packed 2-2 stalemate against Drogheda, the former Shelbourne coach have failed to muster a single victory from any of their previous eight consecutive Premier Division appearances. With that extended rut stemming all the way back to May 17th, Bohemians have also gained a reputation for their glaring issues on home soil. Including a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Derry City last month, Reynolds’ downbeat squad have failed to claim a single top-flight win at Dalymount Park since the middle of April.

As for the visitors, although Waterford might open this weekend’s fixtures sat within touching distance of breaking into the European spots, Waterford have come crashing back down to earth over the past month. Missing out on what was a potential opportunity last time out as they slumped to a 2-1 defeat at home against Shamrock Rovers, Keith Long’s men have lost each of their previous three Premier Division appearances by an aggregate score of 5-1. Despite extended on their FAI Cup adventure on July 19th as they secured a 2-1 win at home against Cockhill, the Blues have also continued to show some glaring issues on the road. Including a 3-0 drumming at the hands of Derry City on June 3rd, Waterford have lost four of their previous five matchups away from the Regional Sports Centre. It should also be noted, Long’s side have recorded just a single clean sheet on their travels since the start of May.

Bet: Both teams to score at Bohemians vs Waterford 8/11 for Friday’s Irish Premier Division matchup @ BetUS
