Competition: EFL Trophy

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 8/11 @ BetUS

Two camps who will turn their attention back to EFL Trophy action on Tuesday night, Bradford will welcome Rotherham to Valley Parade.

Starting with the hosts, while Bradford might have extended on their FA Cup adventure earlier in the month as they secured a 3-1 romp against Aldershot, the Batams have struggled to find any recent stability. Suffering last-gasp heartbreak away at Colchester over the weekend as they eventually had to settle for a 1-1 stalemate in Essex, Graham Alexander’s men have recorded just a single victory from any of their previous five appearances across all competitions. Signing off October with a 2-1 defeat against Doncaster, the former Salford boss will have a headache over his side’s extended defensive issues. In fact, Bradford have recorded just a sole clean sheet from any of their last 10 matchups across all competitions – a run that stems back to September 21st. It should also be noted, Tuesday’s hosts have seen all of their last four battles at Valley Parade finish with both teams finding the net.

As for the visitors, watching their respective FA Cup adventure come to an end on November 2nd as they suffered a 3-1 loss at home against Cheltenham, Rotherham find themselves at the heart of a real struggle. Putting in another downbeat performance last time out as they fell to a 2-0 defeat away at Barnsley, Steve Evans’ side have now lost four of their previous five appearances across all competitions. While the Millers might have opened up the new campaign with their sights set on securing an immediate Championship return, they are shockingly looking over their shoulder at a looming League One relegation scrap. Recording just a sole win over the past six weeks, Tuesday’s guests have also shown their own extended issues at the back. It should be noted, Rotherham have recorded just a pair of clean sheets from any of their last 16 straight matchups across all competitions.

Bet: Both teams to score at Bradford City vs Rotherham 8/11 for Tuesday’s EFL Trophy tie @ BetUS
