Competition: A-League

Market: Central Coast Mariners draw no bet

Odds: 23/20 @ 888sport

Two sides who will find the moods in their camp at a polar opposite, the Central Coast Mariners will make the trip to a downbeat Brisbane on Tuesday morning.

Starting with the hosts, last seen over the weekend when putting in another toothless display, it is fair to say that Brisbane have endured a woeful A-League campaign this season. Suffering a routine 2-0 loss away at Adelaide a few days ago, the former Australian champions sit way down in 11th and knowing that they could face another stern test on Tuesday morning. Failing to win any of their last five outings on the spin, a run highlighted by a 2-1 defeat against Macarthur last month, the Roar have also managed to record just a single victory since back on March 19th. Hit with a 2-1 loss when they faced off against their midweek guests earlier in the season, it should also be noted that Brisbane have continued to gain a reputation for their extended issues on home soil. Including a 3-0 drumming against Wellington, Tuesday’s hosts have won just one of their last five contests in front of their own supporters.

As for the visitors, while Brisbane might be in the midst of another extended rut, Central Coast are enjoying a real flurry at the end of the season. Putting in a rugged display last weekend as they picked up a 1-0 victory against Western United on home soil, the Mariners should be smelling a golden chance to lay down another marker here. Skyrocketing their way into the top-six and with the mood in their camp at a real high, it should be noted that Tuesday’s guests have collected 10 points from their last four A-League outings. Likewise, winning each of their last three matchups on the spin, Central Coast have really found a clinical edge in the final third. Storming their way to back-to-back 4-0 and 4-2 victories against Wellington and Newcastle last month, an away draw no bet can certainly be found at very attractive odds here.

Bet: Central Coast Mariners draw no bet against Brisbane Roar 23/20 for Tuesday’s A-League matchup @ 888sport
