Hoping to extend their buffer in the play-off places, Sporting Gijon will travel to Cartagena on Monday night.

Making a statement last month as they claimed a 2-0 win away at Burgos, Monday’s guests have suffered just a single defeat from any of their previous seven Segunda appearances. With that run stemming all the way back to October 20th, Sporting will also be excited by their most recent showdown against Cartagena. Landing a 1-0 win when they last met the leading relegation contenders back in April, Albes’ men will be confident about producing a repeat outcome on Monday night.
