In another Serie B contest that could prove to be a low-scoring affair late on Tuesday night, Chapecoense will welcome CRB to the Arena Condá.

Starting with the hosts, managing to pick up what was a much-needed victory last week, there is no doubt that Chapecoense will be looking to keep up that momentum here. Eventually grabbing a shock 1-0 win against promotion contenders Bahia, Head Coach Bolívar is hoping for his side to skyrocket their way up the Serie B table. However, while the Greens might have shocked many across Brazil last week, that is the only victory that they have collected from their last eight outings, a run that stems all the way back to April 26th. Despite looking to grab back-to-back wins for the first time since the middle of February, Chapecoense have gained an extended reputation for their strugglers on home soil. Including a 1-0 loss against Sport Recife last month, Bolívar’s men have lost each of their last three contests in front of their own supporters.

As for the visitors, managing to snatch a stunning last-gasp point at home against Ituano last week, CRB will also be looking to build off of those late positives. While the Galo still be looking over their shoulder at the drop zone, they have really made a string of improvements over recent times. On a run highlighted by 1-0 victories against Vila Nova, Sport Recife and Londrina, the Alagoas-based outfit have lost just one of their last six contests, a run that stems back to May 14th. While CRB might be tipped as an underdog on Tuesday night, Marcelo Cabo’s men could be smelling the chance to cause an upset here. However, it should be noted, last seen on their travels getting hit with a 2-0 loss at the hands of Cruzeiro, the midweek guests have lost five of their previous six matchups away from the Estádio Rei Pelé.
