Competition: Brazil Serie B

Market: CRB win

Odds: 2/3 @ 1xBet

In what is a must-win showdown at the foot of the Serie B standings, CRB will welcome Brusque to the Rei Pele in the early hours of Tuesday.

Starting with the hosts, managing to make a crucial return to winning ways last week as they snatched a 1-0 victory at home against Guarani, CRB will be desperate to use that performance as a platform to build on. Still at the heart of a relegation scrap and struggling to find any real stability since opening up the 2024 campaign, the Alagoas-based outfit will be looking to collect consecutive Serie B wins for the first time since way back in September. However, pencilled in as a standout contender in the early hours of Tuesday, Daniel Paulista’s men will take plenty of solace from their continued resilience on home soil. Including a 1-0 win against Vila Nova last month, CRB have won all of their previous three Serie B showdowns at the Rei Pele by an aggregate score of 4-0. Likewise, it should also be noted, along with mustering 10 points from their first four matchups in front of their own supporters, Tuesday’s hosts have remarkably lost just one of their previous 19 straight second-tier appearances in Alagoas.

As for the visitors, although Brusque might have only made their Serie B return this season, Luizinho Lopes’ men appear to have a real battle on their hands this time around. Although the Quadricolor might have secured a much-welcomed 1-0 victory against Ceara last month, that is the only win that they have managed to collect from any of their previous 13 consecutive appearances across all competitions. With that extended wobble stemming all the way back to April 24th, Tuesday’s guests are tipped as a standout relegation contender this season. Likewise, crashing out of the Copa do Brasil on May 22nd as they slumped to an action-packed 4-2 defeat against Atletico GO, Brusque have also collected just a pair of points from any of their first seven Serie B showdowns away from the Augusto Bauer. With that run highlighted by a 2-1 loss against Amazonas on June 8th, Lopes’ downbeat squad should face another stern challenge when they arrive in Alagoas.

Bet: CRB 2/3 to beat Brusque in Tuesday’s Brazil Serie B battle @ 1xBet
