Bitesize Prediction: Crystal Palace vs Everton – 11/11/23

Competition: Premier League

Market: Over 1.5 goals

Odds: 2/5 @ Pribet

Looking to spring another Premier League upset on their travels this weekend, Everton will make the trip to Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, drawing a line under their extended rut away at relegation scrappers Burnley last weekend, Crystal Palace will be desperate to use that performance as a platform to build on. Eventually landing a 2-0 victory against the leading relegation scrappers, Roy Hodgson’s side now find themselves sat just a single point adrift of breaking into the top-half. Recording just their second Premier League victory since the start of September, Palace should now have their sights set on trying to find some much-needed stability. Last seen at Selhurst Park getting hit with a 2-1 defeat at the hands of local rivals Tottenham, the former Liverpool boss has seen his squad muster just a single win from any of their first five appearances in front of their own supporters. Nevertheless, claiming a thumping 4-0 victory when they welcomed Everton to town last season, Hodgson’s side have collected seven points from their previous three meetings against the Blues at Selhurst Park.

As for the visitors, while Everton might still be dealing with some mounting issues behind the scenes at Goodison Park, Sean Dyche’s side are certainly enjoying a recent flurry. Although the Blues might have been disappointed last weekend as they eventually had to settle for a 1-1 stalemate at home against Europa League outfit Brighton, the former Burnley boss should find the mood in his camp at a real high. Extending on their EFL Cup adventure earlier in the month and riding a recent wave of momentum, Everton have lost just a pair of their previous eight showdowns against Premier League opposition – a run that stems all the way back to September 17th. With their recent purple patch highlighted by a 3-1 romp away at Brentford on September 23rd, Dyche’s side have also impressed with their continued success on the road. In fact, the Blues have lost just one of their first five contests away from Goodison Park this season.

Bet: Over 1.5 goals at Crystal Palace vs Everton 2.5 for Saturday’s Premier League contest @ Pribet
