Competition: National League

Market: Goal to be scored in both halves

Odds: 3/4 @ Pribet

Hoping to find a route into the play-off places on Tuesday night, Yeovil will travel to Kent when they meet Ebbsfleet.

Starting with the hosts, while Ebbsfleet might have snatched a dramatic 2-2 stalemate away at Boston last weekend, Josh Wright’s side find themselves at the heart of a public National League crisis. Despite clinging to their fifth-tier status last season, the Kent-based outfit are installed as a landslide relegation contender in 2025. Sat rock-bottom of the table and breaking a string of unwanted records, the Fleet have remarkably put just 10 points on the board from any of their 26 National League appearances. Getting Tuesday’s showdown underway already sat 13 points adrift of safety, Wright’s squad have continued to show a string of glaring issues. Signing off 2024 with a woeful 4-0 drumming at the hands of Southend, Ebbsfleet have certainly gained a reputation for their defensive struggles. Including a 4-1 defeat at home against Gateshead on December 21st, the Reds have already conceded a staggering 62 National League goals so far this season.

As for the visitors, while Yeovil might have only made their National League return this season, the Glovers have their sights set on clinching a shock play-off ticket in 2025. However, despite cruising their way to a routine 3-1 victory against Braintree over the festive period, Mark Cooper’s men are seeking some recent stability. Eventually forced to settle for a 1-1 stalemate at home against Woking last weekend, the Somerset-based outfit have recorded just a single win from any of their previous five appearances across all competitions. Watching their FA Trophy adventure come to an end last month as they suffered a 2-1 loss at the hands of Weymouth, Yeovil have also shown their own defensive struggles. Getting the New Year underway with another 2-1 defeat against Hartlepool, the former Notts County boss has seen his squad muster just a sole clean sheet from any of their previous 10 consecutive outings.

Bet: Goal to be scored in both halves at Ebbsfleet vs Yeovil 3/4 for Tuesday’s National League matchup @ Pribet
