Competition: Super Lig

Market: Fenerbahce win

Odds: 2/5 @ BetUS

Looking to extend on their recent purple patch in midweek, a high-flying Fenerbahce will welcome Antalyaspor to the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Starting with the hosts, although Fenerbahce might need a real miracle in their bid to dethrone Galatasaray next month, the Yellow Canaries are enjoying an eye-catching flurry. Last seen putting in a thumping display as they booked their spot in the final of this season’s Turkish Cup thanks to a 3-0 aggregate romp against Sivasspor, Jorge Jesus’ men are riding a real wave of momentum. Despite suffering Europa League heartbreak at the hands of Spanish outfit Sevilla prior to March’s international break, the former Benfica boss has seen his squad come roaring back in some style. Cruising their way to another Champions League finish with time to spare, Tuesday’s hosts are unbeaten in each of their last 10 straight domestic appearances – a flurry that stems all the way back to April 2nd. Likewise, suffering just a single defeat at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium since the start of January, Fenerbahce should be smelling the chance to make another statement in midweek.

As for the visitors, although Antalyaspor might have clung to a hard-fought 0-0 stalemate at home against Basaksehir last time out, the Scorpions have struggled to find much stability over the past six weeks. Opening May with a 3-1 drumming at the hands of Besiktas, Nuri Sahin’s side have picked up just a single win from any of their previous seven domestic appearances. Showing some extended issues in the final third, it’s also worth highlighting that the Antalya-based outfit have claimed only one win on the road since way back on October 31st. Knowing that they face a huge challenge when they travel to the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium on Tuesday evening, Antalyaspor should also be concerned by a nightmare record against Fenerbahce. Slumping to a 2-1 loss when they welcomed the Yellow Canaries to town for a Super Lig showdown on January 3rd, Sahin’s side have failed to win any of their last seven meetings – a run that stems back to October 2019.

Bet: Fenerbahce 2/5 to beat Antalyaspor in Tuesday’s Super Lig showdown @ BetUS
