Last seen putting in another eye-catching performance as they clinched a lively 2-1 win away at CA Estudiantes, the Buenos Aires-based outfit find themselves sat in pole position to claim a play-off ticket this year. In fact, along with signing off June with a 1-0 victory at home against Brown Adrogue, Juan Sara’s men have collected 12 points from their previous five Primera Nacional appearances. With the mood in their camp at a red-hot high, Ferro have also suffered just a single loss from any of their last 12 second-tier matchups – a run that stems all the way back to April 8th. Picking up a 2-1 win when they faced-off against Sunday’s guests four months ago, Sara’s men are rightfully tipped as a standout contender here.
