Competition: La Liga

Market: Under 2.5 goals

Odds: 3/5 @ 888sport

Hoping to push their way away from the drop zone in midweek, Getafe will welcome Granada to the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez on Thursday evening.

Starting with the hosts, while Getafe might have put in a gritty display last time out, Quique Sánchez Flores’ side were left disappointed to have eventually got hit with a 1-0 loss on the road. However, smelling the chance to make an immediate return to winning ways here, the Blues should be boosted by a stellar return from the festive break. Opening up 2022 with a shock 1-0 victory against Spanish giants Real Madrid, Azulones now have their sights firmly set on retaining their La Liga status this season. Still holding just a one-point buffer over slipping into the drop zone, Getafe should be boosted by their continued success on home soil. Including that stunning win against Los Blancos earlier in the month, Thursday’s hosts are unbeaten at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez since the end of October.

As for the visitors, last seen on January 8th picking up an impressive 1-1 draw against Barcelona on home soil, Granada have once again impressed many across Spain this season. Looking to secure back-to-back top-half La Liga finishes this year, Head Coach Robert Moreno have lost just one of their last eight matchups, a run that stems back to the end of November. With their recent boost highlighted by a stunning victory against defending champions Atletico Madrid when signing off 2021, the Nasrids will be desperate to lay down another marker in midweek. It should also be noted, with Thursday’s opponents seeing each of their last three matchups finish with under 2.5 goals, we’re backing a similar outcome at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.

Bet: Under 2.5 goals at Getafe vs Granada 3/5 for Thursday’s La Liga matchup @ 888sport
