Competition: Brazil Serie B

Market: Over 1.5 goals

Odds: 1/2 @ 888sport

Hoping to try and find some stability in midweek, Gremio will welcome Londrina to the Arena do Grêmio late on Tuesday night.

Starting with the hosts, while Gremio might have come from behind to snatch a point on the road last week, they would have been disappointed by another sluggish display. Eventually playing out a 1-1 draw away at relegation scrappers CSA, the former top-flight outfit have gained the reputation as a recent stalemate specialist. On what has become quite a remarkable run of form over recent times, Roger Machado men have now had to settle for a single point in six of their last eight outings, a run that stems back to May 8th. However, while Gremio might be in the midst of an extended rut, they have continued to shine in front of their own supporters. Last seen at the Arena do Grêmio landing a thumping 2-0 victory against Sampaio Correa, it should be noted that Machado’s squad have won four of their last five matchups across all formats in Rio Grande do Sul.

As for the visitors, managing to make an immediate return to winning ways last week as they cruised their way to a 3-1 romp against Guarani, Londrina should find the mood in their camp at a high. Proving that their close-fought defeat against Vasco was just a minor blip on June 18th, that is the only defeat that the Paraná-based outfit have suffered from any of their last five domestic showdowns. Firing their way up the Serie B table over the past few weeks, Head Coach Vinícius Eutrópio could be smelling the chance for his side to spring a real upset late on Tuesday night. However, it should be highlighted, with the Sharks seeing seven of their last nine Serie B contests finish with over 1.5 goals, we’re backing a similar outcome at the Arena do Grêmio here.

Bet: Over 1.5 goals at Gremio vs Londrina 1/2 for Tuesday’s Brazil Serie B contest @ 888sport
