Competition: League One

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 8/11 @ 1xBet

Looking to make an immediate return to winning ways on Tuesday night, Huddersfield will welcome Blackpool to the John Smith’s Stadium.

Starting with the hosts, while Huddersfield might have sprung an almighty upset earlier in the month as they marked their return from September’s international break with a 4-0 romp away at Bolton, the Terriers came crashing back down to earth over the weekend. Putting in a nightmare performance in Yorkshire as they fell to a 3-1 drumming at home against Northampton, Michael Duff’s men find themselves at the heart of what has become a real rut. Despite flying pit of the traps when opening up the new campaign and winning each of their first four League One appearances, Huddersfield have drastically struggled to replicate that form over the past month. Signing off August with an action-packed 3-2 defeat at the hands of Walsall, Tuesday’s hosts have lost four of their previous five matchups across all competitions. It should also be noted, Duff’s downbeat squad have shipped 10 goals in just their last five appearances.

As for the visitors, while Blackpool might have eventually fallen short last season in the race to book a play-off ticket, the Seasiders are looking to go one-step further this time around. Making an immediate return to winning ways over the weekend as they clinched an impressive 2-1 win away at Charlton, new boss Steve Bruce does appear to have made an immediate impact at Bloomfield Road. Opening Tuesday’s showdown in Yorkshire sat just three points adrift of breaking into the top-six, the former Newcastle has seen his squad win three of their previous four appearances across all competitions. Getting their EFL Trophy adventure underway earlier in the month as they stormed their way to a 4-1 romp at home against Crewe, Bruce’s men could be smelling the chance to spring a real upset on the road. However, it should be noted, with Tuesday’s guests seeing six of their last seven matchups finish with both teams finding the net, we are expecting a similar outcome here.

Bet: Both teams to score at Huddersfield vs Blackpool 8/11 for Tuesday’s League One battle @ 1xBet
