Bitesize Prediction: Hull City vs Coventry – 27/08/22

Competition: Championship

Market: Hull City draw no bet

Odds: 21/20 @ 888sport

Two sides who find themselves battling it out at opposite ends of the Championship table, Hull will welcome Coventry to the MKM Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, after opening the 2022/23 campaign with a 2-1 victory at home against Bristol City, Hull now have the feel of a side seeking some stability. Last seen putting in a worrying display getting hit with an action-packed 5-2 loss away at West Brom, the Tigers will be seeking an immediate response here. Shocking many across the Championship with a 2-1 victory against Norwich on August 13th, the Yorkshire-based outfit do have one attacking talisman enjoying a stellar start to the new season. Quickly enjoying what has become a breakout run at the MKM Stadium, Oscar Estupinan has already notched four second-tier strikes. In fact, along with bagging both strikes in Hull’s 5-2 defeat against West Brom last weekend, the 25-year-old should be smelling another chance on Saturday afternoon.

As for the visitors, while Coventry might have managed to snatch a top-half Championship finish last season, the Sky Blues have rather drastically failed to keep up that momentum. Dealing with some rather public issues behind the scenes, Mark Robins’ side were last seen earlier in the month getting hit with an action-packed 3-2 defeat away at Millwall. Likewise, crashing out of the EFL Cup on August 10th after a 4-1 drumming at home against Bristol City, Saturday’s guests should also be worried by their most recent meeting against the Tigers. Suffering a 2-0 loss when they last faced off against Hull on March 16th, Robins’ squad could be set for a tough test in Yorkshire. Now shipping seven strikes in their back-to-back domestic defeats, we’re backing a home draw no bet this weekend.

Bet: Hull City draw no bet against Coventry 21/20 for Saturday’s Championship battle @ 888sport
