In what could prove to be a cagey Championship showdown on Wednesday night, Hull and Watford will meet at the MKM Stadium.

Last seen over the weekend putting in another downbeat display as they fell to a 1-0 loss at home against Blackburn, the Tigers find themselves at the heart of a public Championship crisis. While they might have opened up the new campaign with their sights set on mounting another shock play-off charge, Hull currently sit rock-bottom of the table and facing an almighty uphill battle. Coming under a huge amount of scrutiny this season, Wednesday’s hosts have put just 15 points on the board from any of their first 19 Championship appearances. Likewise, marking their return from November’s international break with another 1-0 defeat against Luton, Selles’ new squad have lost all of their last six consecutive outings.
