Bitesize Prediction: Leicester vs Leeds – 05/03/22

Competition: Premier League

Market: Leicester win

Odds: 8/11 @ 888sport

Looking to pile more pressure onto a struggling Leeds this weekend, Leicester will welcome the relegation scrappers to the King Power on Saturday lunchtime.

Starting with the hosts, managing to pick up what was a much-needed victory away at Burnley earlier in the week, Leicester will be desperate to build off of that result here. Eventually leaving Turf Moor with a late 2-0 win on the road, Brendan Rodgers’ men have the feel of a side seeking some stability. Extending on their Europa Conference League run thanks to a thumping 7-2 aggregate win against Danish outfit Randers, the one-time Liverpool boss should be smelling a golden chance at the King Power this weekend. Glad to have welcomed back attacking talisman Jamie Vardy in midweek, it should be highlighted that the Foxes have lost just one of their previous five matchups across all formats. Recording their first Premier League win since December last time out, Leicester will be looking to cash in on a Leeds side starting a new adventure.

As for the visitors, watching Marcelo Bielsa leave Elland Road following their woeful 4-0 drumming at the hands of Tottenham last weekend, Leeds find themselves in the midst of a real nightmare. Appointing new boss Jesse Marsch only a few days ago, the one-time RB Leipzig boss will know that his new squad are in an uphill battle. Freefalling their way down the Premier League battle and firmly at the heart of a relegation scrap, the Whites have managed to collect just a single point from their last six top-flight contests. in fact, including that 6-0 drumming at Anfield on February 23rd, it should be noted that Leeds have now shipped a staggering 60 goals this season. Likewise, with just a single away win to their name since the end of October, we’re backing a home victory for the Foxes here.
