Bitesize Prediction: Livingston vs Hearts – 29/01/23

Competition: Scottish Premiership

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 8/11 @ 888sport

In what could prove to be an enjoyable Premiership battle on Sunday lunchtime, Hearts will make the trip to the Almondvale Stadium when they meet Livingston.

Starting with the hosts, while Livingston might have eventually missed out on a top-half finish last season, David Martindale’s men are enjoying a real Premiership flurry this time around. Extending on their League Cup adventure last weekend thanks to a routine 3-1 victory away at Stenhousemuir, the Lions are unbeaten in each of their previous five domestic matchups across all formats. Likewise, last seen on top-flight duties claiming an action-packed 4-2 romp away at St. Johnstone on January 14th, Livingston should find the mood in their camp at a real high. Winning each of their last three consecutive appearances, Sunday’s hosts have also found quite the clinical edge in the final third. However, it should be highlighted, Martindale’s side have seen four of their previous five contests finish with both teams finding the net.

As for the visitors, also extending on their League Cup adventure last weekend following a stellar 3-0 romp away at Hibernian, Robbie Neilson’s side have once again gained a string of plaudits from across Scotland. Cruising their way towards another top-three finish this year, the Jambos are in the midst of an eight-match unbeaten run across all formats. Likewise, last seen in Premiership duties storming their way to a remarkable 5-0 victory against Aberdeen, the Edinburgh-based outfit will be desperate to lay down another marker here. Opening 2023 with another free-scoring performance thanks to a 3-0 victory against Hibs on home soil, we could be treated to another enjoyable showdown this weekend. With Hearts seeing three of their previous four away fixtures finish with both teams finding the net, we’re backing a similar outcome here.

Bet: Both teams to score at Livingston vs Hearts 8/11 for Sunday’s Scottish Premiership battle @ 888sport
