Bitesize Prediction: North Macedonia vs Georgia – 09/06/22

Competition: Nations League

Market: Over 1.5 goals

Odds: 4/9 @ 888sport

Two sides who should find the moods in their camp at a red-hot high, North Macedonia will host Georgia on Thursday night.

Starting with the hosts, while North Macedonia might have been left heartbroken out in Portugal earlier in the year, the Lynxes have continued to impress many across Europe. Despite eventually getting hit with a 2-0 loss against the former European champions, Blagoja Milevski’s men have certainly come roaring back. Putting in a dominant display as they picked up a 2-0 victory against Gibraltar on foreign soil last weekend, the mood in their camp should still be at a real high. Suffering just a pair of defeats from their last 11 matchups across all formats, a run that stems back to June 2021, North Macedonia have proven that they can be a tough test for many across Europe. Clinching that famous 1-0 win when they made the trip to Italy on World Cup qualifying duties back in March, Milevski’s side could be a real dark horse in League C.

As for the visitors, also putting in a hugely impressive display on Nations League duties last weekend, Georgia are enjoying a real purple patch. Eventually landing a thumping 5-2 win away at Bulgaria, the Crusaders have continued to shine over recent months. Opening up this year’s adventure with a 4-0 romp against Gibraltar on home soil, Head Coach Willy Sagnol has really seen his side impress in the final third. Winning their opening two Nations League showdowns by an aggregate score of 9-2, Georgia are also unbeaten in each of their last seven matchups across all formats. Likewise, winning six of those seven contests, Thursday’s guests also clinched a shock 2-0 victory against Sweden seven months ago. In a matchup that could prove to be another enjoyable affair, we’re backing over 1.5 goals here.

Bet: Over 1.5 goals at North Macedonia vs Georgia 4/9 for Thursday’s Nations League matchup @ 888sport
