Likewise, extending on their EFL Cup adventure thanks to a 2-0 win away at Notts County, the former Macclesfield boss will be smelling the chance for his squad to make another statement here. Hoping to mount a genuine play-off charge this season, Lincoln will also be excited by their eye-catching record against Tuesday’s hosts. Landing a 2-1 win when they welcomed Northampton to town for a League One showdown back in January 2021, Kennedy’s side are unbeaten in each of their last five straight meetings. Given the recent gulf in class, we are backing an away double chance in midweek.
