Competition: La Liga

Market: Over 1.5 goals

Odds: 4/11 @ 888sport

Looking to build off of what has been a real purple patch, runaway leaders Real Madrid will make the trip to Osasuna on Wednesday night.

Starting with the hosts, once again impressing over the weekend as they laid down another marker, it appears that the mood in Osasuna’s camp should be at a real high. Eventually picking up a 2-1 victory away at Valencia, Los Rojillos have once again gained a host of plaudits from across Spain this season. Skyrocketing their way into the top-half, Head Coach Jagoba Arrasate’s side have won three of their last four La Liga contests. With their recent purple patch highlighted by a 3-1 romp against Levante prior to March’s international break, Osasuna have also continued to shine with their displays at the El Sadar. Including a shock victory against Champions League semi-finalists Villarreal on March 5th, it should be noted that Wednesday’s hosts have won each of their last three top-flight home fixtures.

As for the visitors, mounting a stunning comeback away at Sevilla only a few days ago, Real Madrid are enjoying a remarkable campaign in the Spanish capital. Storming their way to a 3-2 win on the road, Carlo Ancelotti’s men have won four of their last five matchups across all formats. Eventually coming past Premier League giants Chelsea and booking their spot in the semi-final of this year’s Champions League thanks to a thrilling 5-4 aggregate win, the former Everton boss will be looking to lay down another marker here. Storming their way towards another domestic crown, Los Blancos have also continued to shine with their displays in the final third. With attacking talisman Karim Benzema already racking up 25 La Liga strikes this season, we could be in for an enjoyable encounter in Navarre.

Bet: Over 1.5 goals at Osasuna vs Real Madrid 4/11 for Wednesday’s La Liga showdown @ 888sport
