Competition: Greek Super League

Market: Panserraikos win

Odds: 1/1 @ BetUS

Looking to claim a much-welcomed Super League boost on Monday afternoon, Panserraikos will welcome Lamia to the Serres Munciplas Stadium.

Starting with the hosts, mounting a dramatic comeback at home against Panathinaikos last weekend, Panserraikos will be desperate to use their late flurry as a platform to build on. Crashing out of the Greek Cup last month following a 3-0 drumming at the hands of Panionios, Juan Ferrando’s men are without a win from any of their previous six appearances across all competitions. Tumbling their way down the Super League standings and now sat five points adrift of breaking into the top-half, the former AEK Larnaca boss has some mounting pressure on his shoulders. However, losing just a pair of their previous showdowns at the Serres Munciplas Stadium, Panserraikos will also be excited by their most recent showdown against Monday’s guests. Landing a 2-1 victory when they met Lamia for their reverse Super League showdown on September 30th, they have also won each of their previous three top-flight battles by an aggregate score of 6-1.

As for the visitors, while Lamia might have sprung a real upset last season as they narrowly missed out on a famous European ticket, Leonidas Vokolos’ side are enduring a public crisis this time around. Sat rock-bottom of the Super League table and breaking plenty of unwanted records, Monday’s guests have put just nine points on the board and are rightfully regarded as a landslide relegation contender in 2025. Last seen putting in another nightmare display as they slumped to a 3-0 drumming at home against Atromitos, Lamia have also lost each of their previous five Super League showdowns. Failing to pick up a single victory since the opening weekend, Vokolos’ men have also continued to show some glaring attacking issues. Heading into Greece’s festive break with a 1-0 loss against Greek giants Olympiacos, the Blues have drawn a blank in five of their previous six appearances.

Bet: Panserraikos 1/1 to beat Lamia in Monday’s Super League matchup @ BetUS
