Although they might find themselves sat in top-flight limbo, Shelbourne should be smelling a chance here.
As for the visitors, last seen getting hit with a hard-fought 1-0 loss at the hands of Irish heavyweights Shamrock Rovers, it appears that the Finn Harps are destined to fill that relegation play-off spot. Already sat 10 points adrift of safety, the Blues are in the midst of a dreadful eight-match winless run. With that downbeat spell stemming all the way back to the end of April, Ollie Horgan’s men have only shown a string of issues at both ends of the pitch. Marking their return from the international break with a 3-0 drumming against Sligo, the Ballybofey-based side have also gained a reputation for their problems on the road.
