Competition: Serie A

Market: Victor Osimhen to score anytime

Odds: 23/20 @ 888sport

Looking to sign off the 2021/22 campaign with a flurry on Sunday morning, Napoli will make the trip to the Stadio Alberto Picco when they meet Spezia.

Starting with the hosts, managing to extend on their Serie A status thanks to an action-packed display last weekend, Spezia have just about dragged themselves over the finish line. However, despite being last seen landing a 3-2 win away at Udinese, Head Coach Thiago Motta has seen his side show some real issues this season. Enduring a four-match losing run over the past month, there is no doubt that the Little Eagles face a huge task here. On a run highlighted by a 3-1 drumming at the hands of European outsiders Atalanta on May 5th, Spezia have also gained a reputation for their struggles at the back. Already conceding 68 Serie A strikes this year, it’s also worth noting that Sunday’s hosts have shipped at least a pair of goals in their last five top-flight contests on the spin.

As for the visitors, managing to cruise their way to a Champions League return this season, Napoli appear to be in the midst of a recent purple patch. Looking to sign off their campaign with a flurry this weekend, the Blues were last seen putting in another free-scoring display. Storming their way to a 3-0 victory at home against Genoa, Head Coach Luciano Spalletti has seen his side win each of their last three Serie A contests. Winning those three domestic contests by an aggregate score of 10-1, Napoli also have one attacking talisman who has gained a string of plaudits this season. Once again finding the net against Genoa last week, Victor Osimhen has recorded seven strikes in just his last eight appearances. Given Spezia’s rather glaring struggles at the back, the 23-year-old can be found at generous odds to extend on his tally here.

Bet: Victor Osimhen 23/20 to score anytime against Spezia for Sunday’s Serie A showdown @ 888sport
