However, while Die Roten might know that they face a tough task on paper here, they have shown some much-needed improvements over the past month. Heading into March’s international break with an action-packed 3-2 victory against Augsburg, fans around the Mercedes-Benz Arena find their side enjoying a four-match unbeaten run in Germany’s top-flight. Picking up back-to-back 3-2 wins at home against Borussia Mönchengladbach and Augsburg, some in Stuttgart’s camp could be smelling a chance here.
As for the visitors, marking their return from March’s international break with a woeful display in rural Germany, Borussia Dortmund really have the feel of a side seeking some stability.
