As for the visitors, although Borussia Monchengladbach might have just about dragged themselves over the finishing line, the Foals have endured another Bundesliga struggle this season. Likewise, despite claiming an eye-catching 3-1 win away at Wolfsburg last month, that is the only Bundesliga victory that Saturday’s guests have collected from any of their last 11 matchups across all competitions. With that extended wobble stemming all the way back to February 24th, Gladbach have also shown some extended struggle away from Borussia-Park. Crashing out of the DFP Pokal on March 12th following a shock 2-1 loss at the hands of third-tier outfit Saarbrucken, the one-time Bayer Leverkusen boss has seen his squad muster just a single win on their travels since the end of September.
