Competition: MLS

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 4/7 @ BetUS

Hoping to make an immediate return to winning ways in the early hours of Thursday, Orlando will travel to BMO Field when they meet. Toronto.

Starting with the hosts, finishing rock-bottom of the Eastern Conference table last season and coming under a huge amount of scrutiny, Toronto have once again shown a string of issues since opening up the 2024 campaign. Suffering last-gasp heartbreak away at Atlanta last weekend as they suffered a 2-1 defeat, John Herdman’s men have lost all of their previous four MLS appearances by an aggregate score of 11-3. Likewise, the Reds have managed to muster just a pair of points from any off their last seven consecutive top-flight battles. With their recent struggles underlined by a woeful 4-1 drumming at home against Chicago on June 16th, Toronto have also gained a reputation for their glaring defensive issues. In fact, the midweek hosts have recorded just a single MLS clean sheet since way back on March 23rd. It should also be highlighted, Herdman’s struggling squad have seen all of their previous seven matchups at BMO Field finish with both teams finding the net.

As for the visitors, while Orlando might have claimed a much-needed 4-2 victory against Chicago on June 23rd, the Lions came crashing back down to earth last weekend. Falling to a 4-2 loss at the hands of New York City, Oscar Pareja’s men have drastically struggled to find any kind of stability since opening up the 2024 campaign. Including a 3-1 loss at home against Los Angeles last month, the Florida-based outfit have collected just a single victory from any of their previous seven MLS appearances. Almost sat in Eastern Conference limbo, Thursday’s guests have also shown their own glaring defensive struggles. Along with an action-packed 2-2 stalemate against Charlotte on June 20th, Orlando have shipped 11 goals in just their last four top-flight matchups. Likewise, registering just a single MLS clean sheet over the past six weeks, neutrals could be treated to an enjoyable affair here. With the Lions seeing eight of their previous 10 away fixtures finish with both teams finding the net, we are expecting a similar outcome.

Bet: Both teams to score at Toronto vs Orlando City 4/7 for Thursday’s MLS showdown @ BetUS
