Bitesize Prediction: Tottenham vs Leeds – 12/11/22

Competition: Premier League

Market: Tottenham win

Odds: 7/11 @ 888sport

Looking to find a boost before heading into the World Cup’s winter break, Tottenham will welcome Leeds to north London on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, crashing out of the EFL Cup earlier in the week following a toothless display, Tottenham have the feel of a side seeking some stability. Eventually getting hit with a 2-0 loss away at Premier League strugglers Nottingham Forest, Antonio Conte’s side have managed to win just a pair of their previous seven matchups across all formats. However, despite being last seen on top-flight duties suffering a 2-1 defeat against Liverpool in north London, it appears that Spurs are on course to claim another top-four finish this season. Looking to lay down a pre-World Cup marker on Saturday afternoon, Tottenham should be smelling a chance here. Likewise, it should be highlighted, along with claiming a 4-0 romp when they last faced off against Leeds back on February 26th, Conte’s side have won three of their last four meetings against this weekend’s guests.

As for the visitors, although Leeds might have followed Spurs out of the EFL Cup in midweek following a 1-0 loss away at Wolves, the mood in their camp should be at a high. Now claiming back-to-back Premier League victories, Jesse Marsch’s side have also found a route out of the bottom-three. However, while the former RB Leipzig boss might be desperate for his side to spring an upset on Saturday afternoon, the Whites have shown some extended issues away from Elland Road this season. In fact, including that 1-0 loss in the Midlands a few days ago, it should be highlighted that Leeds have lost five of their last six contests on the road. Hit with that 4-0 drumming when they welcomed Tottenham to Yorkshire back in February, they will know that a tough test is on the cards this weekend.

Bet: Tottenham 7/11 to beat Leeds in Saturday’s Premier League showdown @ 888sport
