Competition: Bundesliga

Market: Koln draw no bet

Odds: 1/1 @ BetUS

Looking to make another Bundesliga statement on Saturday afternoon, Koln will travel to the Weserstadion when they meet a struggling Werder Bremen.

Starting with the hosts, while Werder Bremen might have all but secured their Bundesliga status for another season, Ole Werner’s men are really limping their way over the finish line. Last seen getting hit with a 2-1 loss away at RB Leipzig, the River Islanders have had little to cheer about since returning from the World Cup’s winter break. Although the Greens might have secured an action-packed 4-2 win away at Hertha Berlin last month, it appears that was just a minor boost for Werner’s downbeat squad. In fact, Bremen have recorded just a single win from any of their last 10 domestic appearances – a run that stems all the way back to February 25th. Likewise, losing each of their last three straight Bundesliga showdowns by a 2-1 scoreline, they have also gained a reputation for their continued issues on home soil. It should be highlighted, Saturday’s hosts have lost each of their previous four appearances at the Weserstadion.

As for the visitors, although Koln might have shown a string of problems prior to March’s international break, the Billy Goats have come roaring back in some style. Last seen putting in another stellar display as they stormed their way to a 5-2 victory at home against Hertha Berlin, Steffen Baumgart’s men have skyrocketed away from any kind of relegation scrap. With the mood in their camp at a season-high, Saturday’s guests will travel to the Weserstadion confident of causing another upset. With their recent purple patch highlighted by a stellar 2-1 win away at Europa League semi-finalists Bayer Leverkusen on May 5th, Koln have lost just one of their previous seven top-flight appearances. With that run stemming back to the middle of May, it should also be noted that Baumgart’s side have collected nine points from their last four Bundesliga showdowns. Claiming a stunning 7-1 romp when they welcomed Werder Bremen to town on January 21st, we are backing an away draw no bet this weekend.

Bet: Koln draw no bet against Werder Bremen 1/1 for Saturday’s Bundesliga matchup @ BetUS
