(GSM) – Sunderland are close to completing the signing Egyptian international Ahmed Al-Muhammadi. According to the player’s club, ENPPI, a Sunderland representative will land in Egypt after the English Premier League reaches its end to wrap up the deal.
Al-Muhammadi has attracted interest from various English clubs including Wigan adn Blackburn. However, it seems that the Black Cats have won the race to sign the 22-year-old right-sided player.
ENPPI football director Alaa Abdul-Sadek claims Sunderland have agreed a £2.5million deal with the Egyptian club for the player.
“A Sunderland representative will come to Egypt after the end of the English Premier League to wrap up the deal,” Abdul-Sadek told FilGoal.com.
