Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce has no qualms about throwing Jason Brown into his side. The Welsh international is set to replace the injured Paul Robinson against Everton, after coming off the bench to play at Hull City on Sunday.

“I was very pleased that Jason came in and performed as he did, he didn’t have any chance with the goal and he made a couple of very good saves,” he told Sky Sports News. “It’s going to be touch and go with Paul Robinson, we’ll give it until the morning but it’s doubtful”.
