Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce has hinted he may be ready to sell full-back Pascal Chimbonda in the summer.
The former Wigan, Spurs and Sunderland defender has fallen down the pecking order at Ewood Park and reports have linked him with a move away from the club.
Chimbonda has made just one start for Rovers since February
Allardyce said: “Pascal might be knocking on my door.
“He is going to be disappointed obviously that he has lost his place, particularly after the impact he had on the side when he first came here. We were really concerned about losing Stephen Warnock, but in the initial stages Chim came in and played really, really well.
“But the emergence of other players meant life became that much more difficult for him and if he didn’t perform to his best there were people ready to take his place. The people who have taken his place have kept it and he has ended up being one of the ones left out.”
