Blackburn Rovers have completed the signing of Senegalese striker Mame Biram Diouf on a season-long loan from Manchester United.
The 22-year-old made six appearances for United last season after joining the club from Norwegian side Molde in the January transfer window.
Diouf is highly regarded at Old Trafford, but United are keen to secure regular football for Diouf, something manager Sir Alex Ferguson cannot guarantee.
Diouf could be handed his debut for Rovers in the Premier League side’s friendly clash with Scottish side Hearts on Saturday.
