France coach Laurent Blanc said his side will gain plenty of confidence from their 3-0 defeat of Albania in Euro 2012 qualifying on Friday.

First-half goals from Florent Malouda and Loic Remy, and a second-half strike from Anthony Reveillere gave the injury-hit home side a comfortable victory in Paris.

The three points ensure France stay at the summit of the Group D on 20 points, with one point more than Bosnia, who they will face on Tuesday at the Stade de France.

After Blanc lost several players to injuries in the last few days, the former Manchester United defender welcomed the comfortable nature of the win.

“This match will give us more confidence. We will enjoy this victory for what it is worth, because we are going through a difficult week,” Blanc said.

“We have injured players who may recover in time for Tuesday’s game, though it will be hard.”

“We will assess the situation and call up more players if necessary.”

France’s preparation for the match against Bosnia has been dealt another injury blow as Patrice Evra and Yohan Cabaye both picked up knocks against the Albanians.
