The agent of France boss Laurent Blanc has moved to deny reports that his client has been contacted by Inter.
The Italian giants are actively searching for Claudio Ranieri’s replacement as the former Chelsea boss is expected to get the boot come end of the season.
Laurent Blanc, a former Inter defender, is one of the favourites to replace the Italian, but his agent claims they have yet to be contacted by the Neroazzurri officials.
“There has been no contact with Inter,” Jean-Pierre Bernès noted on Radio Monte Carlo.
Bernes, however, admits that Blanc is open to club offers seeing that his contract with French Football Federation is set to expire after the European Championships in Poland and Ukraine.
“Laurent can make any choice, as he will be in control of his own future. All the club Presidents know he will be a free agent after Euro 2012 and there are possibilities for him.”
The 46-year-old started his coaching career at Bordeaux, where he enjoyed a lot of success before taking over France national team in July 2010.
Blanc managed to sort out the national team following the departure of Raymond Domenech and he helped les Bleus qualify for the Euro 2012.
