Manchester Evening News has revealed that Manchester United have extended the contracts of Daley Blind and Ashley Young.

Both players had deals until June 2018, but the club decided to trigger a one-year extension in both of their contracts.

Ashley Young, 32, was rewarded for a rich vein of form this season, having made 21 Premier League appearances, scoring 2 goals.

Meanwhile, Daley Blind continues to be linked with a summer exit as he only featured in 5 league games this term, but the club clearly wanted to avoid losing him on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Following the 2-1 triumph over Chelsea, the Red Devils are 11/20 to defeat Crystal Palace on the road on Monday.
