West Ham United may have to do without Luis Boa Morte until the New Year as result of a serious leg injury.
The Portuguese forward suffered the injury, anterior cruciate ligament damage, during the Hammers’ clash with Tottenham at the Asia Trophy on Wednesday.
Boa Morte was stretchered off and transported to a Beijing hospital.
The 31-year-old winger joined West ham in 2007 after a seven-year stint at Fulham.
